This season clubs have entered composite sides to facilitate optimum match play for members.
The intent has been to get players out onto the greens and minimise rostering. Unfortunately, it’s also been a season with illness and unprecedented absenteeism.
Clearview has informed us today that, for the remainder of the season, it will not have players for the combined Wednesday team in Division 4 NE.
Walkerville doesn’t have players to cover that gap, so regretfully we have asked Match Committee that the team be withdrawn from competition.
Walkerville players will now be rostered on Wednesdays in line with club policy.
